4 Forma Styanax Build by greedygobin - Steel Path/Netracell Styanax with 100% armor strip, infinite team energy, and 40k+ Overshields - Overframe (2024)

Steel Path/Netracell [Styanax]

This kit comes with 100% armor strip, 40k+ overguard for the whole team, nice 140%+ viral damage boost with Nourish, and infinite team energy, with an additional powerful AOE damage with [Styanax]'s 4th ability. It additionally has insane utility for Netracells with the kyeglyphs.

Armor Strip
The armor Strip comes with his 2nd ability Tharros Strike. It shoots a wide, but short, arc of shields doing 50% armor strip at 100% ability strength. With us at 200%+ ability power, its strips all armor and shields (not overshields though).

Overshield
The 40k+ overshield comes from the 4th ability Final Stand and the augment mod [Intrepid Stand]. The more enemies you hit with the dozens of javelins that are thrown with that ability, the more overshield you and your team get. It also scales with ability strength, giving more per hit, and a higher maximum of overguard. Overguard will block knockdown effects(so we don't need [Primed Sure Footed]), status effects, and adds padded health. It does great damage, even at steel path level 200+. Just care for Eximus'. Leech will steal overshield and blast will remove most of it if you aren't careful.

Infinite Team Energy
The Infinite energy combo comes from the combination of the 3rd ability, Rally Point, and the subsumed 1st ability, Nourish. Rally point gives energy a second that scales off of ability strength. Nourish gives a energy gain multiplier. Both scale off ability strength. So with this build, without molt augmented and [Growing Power] activated, it gives 21 energy per second. Now add in a max molt augment, crimson archon shards, and the ability strength from [Growing Power], you get ALOT of energy per second. And it gives it to the whole team, so they can go hog wild with their abilities.

Netracells
With our insane overguard and energy output, all the negative keyglyphs will damage the 40k overguard instead of out health, and with our energy [Regen] the negative energy doesn't matter. Basically, they barely affect us at all.

Archon Shards
With the long casting time, I would recommend 1-2 amber archon shard with casting speed, the rest just throw into crimson archon shards with ability strength. If you really wanted to, you could throw 1-2 azure archon shards to shields to build crit chance, but I wouldn't recommend it. Sadly, none of the new archon shards are helpful for Styanax.

Why I have certain mods/arcanes

-Arcane Energize: Even with our infinite energy combo, I have Arcane Energize just for the off chance I missed the timing for rebuffing and used all my energy. I can just swoop down, grab a couple orbs and be right back to full.

-[Augur Reach]: I have [Augur Reach] instead of [Stretch] due to its set ability. It doesn't only restore shields, it also give overshield, which stacks well with our passive. (more shields = crit chance)

-[Boreal's Hatred]: More shield for the passive, efficiency to offset [Blind Rage], and its set bonus applies to us flying in the air with our Final Stand, as long as you do a little jump before you cast.

Downsides

Nourish and Rally Point
-Both are timed abilities that need you to stand still for a moment to cast, that's why I added 1-2 yellow archon shard to speed it up. With [Primed Continuity], Rally point has a duration of about 48s and nourish 38s. You will need to be sure to keep them up, so your team can have energy and the extra damage from Nourish

Tharros Strike
-It comes out in a short wide fan, that you need to keep level. If you aim slightly downward, it will hit the ground and not hit as many enemies as it could have. It just takes some practice.

Initial Energy
-Before you can get the initial infinite energy combo, you will be slightly off the amount you need in the beginning. You will either need to get an energy orb, have a friend run [Energy Siphon], use an energy pack, or have your operator, or a friends, run the Zenurik focus to give energy through the ability energy pulse. You will then hit Rally Point to gain energy, then cast Nourish when you have enough to kick it off.

Potential Changes
There a couple mods with which you can switch out.
-We have enough ability strength so you can switch Power Drift/[Growing Power] if you really wanted to.
You can switch [Growing Power] for [Energy Siphon] if you wanted to get rid of the initial start off energy problem.
You can switch the Power Drift for Cunning Drift if you wanted more range for the buffs and Tharros Strike
-If you are not worried about your energy, you can swap out Arcane Energize. I would recommend Molt efficiency, but you can do whatever you want.
