Destiny 2: How To Unlock Every New Dungeons & Dragons Item (2024)

Destiny 2's Final Shape expansion also marks a collaboration event with the IP for Dungeons & Dragons, the iconic table-top role-playing game, with several items you can unlock. Including three new armor ornaments and various cosmetics, you'll have to spend some valuable resources to get these new Exotics. Buying these D&D-inspired items in the right packages will give you everything you need for a low price.

Along with the plethora of in-game items being offered through this collaboration, you can also get an Eye Tyrant Beholder Ghost Shell Vinyl Figure being offered through the Bungie Store. The multi-eyed monster from D&D is simply bought with a pre-order that becomes available on June 5th. Unlike other aspects of The Final Shape expansion for Destiny 2, this physical item does not tie into anything within the game.

How To Get The Dungeons & Dragons Armor Sets

Spend Silver On Individual Items Or Specific Packages

There are 15 available Armor Ornaments that make up 3 Armor Sets for each class in Destiny 2, with one collection being offered for the Titan, Warlock, and Hunter. Every Ornament costs around 2,000 Silvereach according to the prices listed in the Eververse Store. On TodayinDestiny, an external site that lists updated prices on seasonal items, you can see each of the current seasonal items being offered.

Instead of purchasing every Armor Ornament individually, you should buy the Bundle packs being offered during the limited season of collaboration with the Dungeons & Dragons IP. These packages also cost 2,000 Silver, but they include every piece of Armor within a Set, giving you everything for one class. Spending only 2,000 Silver instead of 10,000 makes it far easier to get the Armor Set you want most.

Silver is an in-game resource that can only be purchased with real-world money to buy items located in the Eververse Store. Unlike other items offered in this shop, Dungeons & Dragons accessories and Armor cannot be bought using Bright Dust, another resource used to unlock things in the Store. Since Bright Dust is found in-game and Silver is not, this makes the D&D items harder to obtain.

In contrast to new Exotic weapons such as the Perfect Pitch in Destiny 2 from the expansion, the Armor Ornaments do not have a God Roll or a better version you can unlock. Besides shaders that can be applied to them to change the colors of the Armor Sets, as you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Krypz, the D&D items serve a cosmetic purpose only. Buy The Right Package For Three Different Items

Three other cosmetic itemsare offered through the Eververse Store as you try to obtain the Armor Ornaments for every class during this season. In addition to class-exclusive gear, you can unlock skins for your Ghost, Ship, and Sparrow that affect how it looks. Each of the appearance changes is meant to resemble a different creature from Dungeons & Dragons, similar to the Armor Sets.

Once again, cosmetic items cost Silver within the Store, as you may expect from your experience with the Armor. Unfortunately, not even the expansive rewards from the new Pathfinder progression system in Destiny 2 introduced in The Final Shape can help you earn Silver needed for these other items. The best way to get all three items at once is to buy the Adventurer's Pack Accessories Package from the store.

Buying the right Package will get you every cosmetic item all at once in a Legendary bundle being offered for a limited time. Be sure to spend Silver on this deal quickly before it is removed from the Eververse Store likely around the time when the D&D collaboration ends. Spend More Silver To Clear Out The Store's Collab Items

The final two items from the Dungeons & Dragons collaboration with Destiny 2 are the Bigby's Fist Finisher and Natural 20 Emote also offered through the Eververse Store for Silver. As you may expect by this point, there are no alternative ways to purchase these items beyond spending the Silver resource. While it may cost a lot to get everything from the D&D collab, the items you unlock are incredibly unique.

Unlike some of the other items seen in the Store, the Natural 20 Emote is an Exotic item in Destiny 2 rather than one of Legendary rarity. You cannot buy these final two items in a package, so they might take longer to obtain than the items being offered in bundles together. It is recommended to buy these items last since they will likely remain in the Store for far longer than the cosmetics or Armor Sets.

Each Emote, Finisher, or other item obtained from this collaboration will allow you to show off to other players during raids or other events. Those who manage to unlock all the Dungeons & Dragons items in Destiny 2 may even feel a sense of adventure from the items inspired by the famous TTRPG to dive into the new content made available with the release of The Final Shape expansion.
