What is the best day to go to the cinema? ›

Unless it's a Holiday or Holiday week, weekdays are usually not crowded. Earlier shows are usually not crowded even on weekends. If it's a highly awaited film, then the first day it's out will be crowded, wait a couple days, and you will see a difference.

The second or third row from the back, along with seats in the middle, are recommended for optimal sound quality and viewing experience. Avoid front-row seats and corner seats for better angles and audio.

Tickets tend to be cheaper at most theaters on the first few days of the week, since those days are slow.

Corner seat is a private seat. Normally most couples ( husband &wife / lovers / dating couples/ friends with benefits) prefer that seats. Because they can do some intimate activities there. That seats are more darker that other seats.

The average IMAX screen size is approximately 72' x 50' (22m x 16m), which is significantly larger than traditional movie screens of approximately 50' x 20' (16m x 6.1m). Is IMAX worth it? Yes, it is absolutely worth the price of admission. It's the biggest screen with the best quality.

Children under 5 years are welcome to our ALL AGES showtimes (see above for details). Ages 13 – 17 years old are allowed to appropriately rated movies (G, PG, PG-13) without an adult guardian before 7pm. See below image for ratings guidelines. Anyone under 13 will not be admitted to a matinee without an adult guardian.

If you want to make sure to get a good seat, I'd say get there about 30 mins early. Even if you don't really care about getting a “good seat” get there earlier before you're left with a bad seat. (i.e: sitting so far back you can't see, sitting to close and you have to crane your neck, etc).

The busiest times for a theatre are just after dinner - shows that start from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Everyone has left work and it's still early. They tend to be busiest on days when there's no work the following day - Friday nights and Saturday nights.

There are so many lies out there about movies — that they make good date nights (they don't); that Gravity was good (it wasn't); and that going to the theater is an afternoon or evening pursuit. Don't listen to them! Morning movies are cheaper, and less crowded, and overall more enjoyable.
