Sabrina Carpenter may be best known for acting and singing, having starred in Girl Meets World and crafting hits (and conversation starters) like “Skin” and “Because I Liked a Boy”—but the 23-year-old is ready to take on the beauty world.
Carpenter is no stranger to being a multihyphenate: She launched her own production company, At Last Productions, in 2020 and is set to produce and star in upcoming adaptations of Alice in Wonderland and YA sensation The Distance From Me to You. As of this autumn, Carpenter, a self-proclaimed fragrance enthusiast, can add perfume designer to her long list of accomplishments.
“I love smelling good, and scents make me feel complete before I walk out the door,” Carpenter tells Glamour. As for what she’s wearing now? Her own scent, of course. “Self plug: I’m wearing my perfume, Sweet Tooth,” she says with a laugh. “It’s so funny, because I basically made my dream perfume that I’d want to wear everyday.”
Sweet Tooth has become an integral part of Carpenter’s self-care regimen, serving as a tiny daily indulgence. “I think it’s really important to pay attention to yourself, and do the things that make you feel good,” she says.

Carpenter’s perspective on beauty and skin care is the same. “The most important thing about skin care, for me, has always been to listen to my skin,” she tells Glamour. “Because it changes. Every season’s a little different and every year of my life is a little different. Sometimes it requires a lot and more is more, and then other times less is more. It’s really just about listening to your body and giving it what it needs.”
Ahead, Sabrina Carpenter shares her favorite skin care products for Glamour’s Drop the Routine.
My cleanser
I’ve been working with [esthetician] Renée Rouleau since I was 15. I use her AHA/BHA cleanser, which has been a steady thing in my life. I like that it’s somewhat of an exfoliant but not really harsh, and AHA/BHA is really good for keeping your skin clear.

My toner
Renée Rouleau’s products have always always worked for my skin. I also use her Elderberry Soothing Toner.

My serum
After cleansing and toning, I like using the vitamin C treatment serum from 111Skin.

My SPF
Sunscreen is super important to me. I wear sunscreen every single day. I started using Supergoop’s Glow Screen because I would find my face is always a little bit paler than the rest of my body, so it kind of is the best of both worlds: Obviously it’s SPF, but then it also gives you just a little bit of color that brings your skin to life. It’s under my makeup most of the time and it’s really nice. I really like how it looks.

My moisturizer
I use moisturizer at night. I really love this La Mer moisturizer. I just tried it, and I was like, Oh no, I love it! It’s one of those products that is a little bit of a splurge, so I really hoped I wouldn’t like it, but I did. It’s lightweight, and I tend to go for more lightweight moisturizers.

My lip balms
I love a classic Aquaphor, I can’t lie. It’s sitting next to me in my room at all times. I love how it feels: It’s super moisturizing, it’s not sticky, it’s kind of the perfect lip product. The only other lip balm that I love and and use is the Glossier Balm Dotcom. It’s really nice and smells really good.

My facial tool
I use this rose quartz crystal on my face. I really like the way it’s shaped, and that it’s so easy to use. It’s very user-friendly.

My fragrance
I got really lucky that my own perfume is something I want to wear everyday. It’s a gourmand, so it’s very sweet but also kind of sophisticated. There’s a little bit of an oakiness to it. It’s all my favorite things combined: It’s not too strong, it’s very light, and I make a lot of friends when I wear it. People will be like, “Woah, why do you smell so good?”
