Can we officially call it the holiday party season?! I wait all year for this! The holidays are my favorite time to bake and take all the prettiest things to parties and gatherings with friends and family. I'm so excited to share with you one of the prettiest and tastiest foods to make during the holidays: Cranberry Brie Pull Apart Bread!

When the weather gets cold, I love baking thick and sweet desserts and appetizers with rich cheeses and nutty flavors and sharing them with family and friends.

Since I'm worrying less about my heartburn and enjoying all my favorite cheesy appetizers, I'm definitely bringing my favorite Cranberry Brie Pull Apart Bread to some parties this year. Pull-apart bread is a fantastic choice for parties because it looks beautiful, it is totally easy to transport in the car, and it doesn't fall apart as everyone starts to dig in and take pieces.

Making this delectable bread couldn't be easier. Start with a loaf of sourdough bread from your favorite bakery and cut rows and columns about 1 inch apart with a long bread knife. Make sure not to cut too deep and go all the way through the bread. You want to keep all the gooey cheese inside!

The star ingredients are brie and this cranberry white cheddar cheese. I ended up using the entire block of cranberry white cheddar cheese (8 oz.), but only half of the 8 oz. brie wedge. Cutting the cheese into wedge shapes allows them to fit so nicely in the cuts of the bread.

Stuff cheese pieces into every cross-section, alternating between the brie and the cranberry white cheddar.

I like to top the bread with another few slices of cheese and another small handful of cranberries. It makes the top look so appetizing! Bake at 300 for 25 minutes and serve warm!

The pistachios inside add a nice crunch and the gooey cheese on the sourdough is just so delicious! I like leaving the rind on the brie cheese because of the bright white contrast it brings to the final recipe, plus eating the rind is perfectly ok and actually the most polite thing to do at parties!

I use that medication but in prescription strength. I like cranberries and brie so I am sure this is a delicious bread. I probably wouldn't eat the pistachios with it though. I like pistachios but by themselves not really mixed with other things.

Do you take the rind off before baking? Keep the rind on, as it will help the cheese hold its shape so it doesn't all melt out. The rind is also edible, so you can enjoy it with the melted cheese, or simply remove the top layer after baking and dunk in crusty bread like a fondue.
