All Alternate Character Costumes in Street Fighter 6

S Tier Characters

Marisa

Marisa is a new character to Street Fighter 6, and therefore everyone playing as her will be on a more even playing field (to begin with). She is relatively easy to get to grips with, and has incredible range with damage to back it up.

See our complete Marisa Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Manon

If you love throws, Manon is your character. She has a wide range of special moves that use throws very effectively, and despite long recovery times to a number of her attacks, her ease of usage for newer players is an alluring prospect.

See our complete Manon Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Zangief

Similar to Manon, Zangief has an incredibly selection of grapple moves that make him excel at close-quarters combat. Whilst he is difficult to learn to use effectively, his pure strength make a convincing argument for why he is one of, if not the, strongest character in the game.

See our complete Zangief Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Guile

Like Zangief, Guile is difficult to learn, but what Guile struggles with in terms of his difficulty to play, the abilities he has at his disposal more than make up for the downsides. His Super Arts in particular are very potent, and when used well, Guile can lock an opponent into a corner like nobody else.

See our complete Guile Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Kimberly

Another newcomer like Marisa, Kimberly is easy to get to grips with and has a near-unprecedented sense of mobility and speed, whilst also boasting moves that are very simple to execute (in comparison to other characters).

See our complete Kimberly Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

A Tier Characters

Cammy

Likely unsurprising to returning Street Fighter fans, Cammy remains a very potent fighter. With classic moves like Spiral Arrow being an excellent go-to, and added combo potential to boot, it seems you can never go wrong should you pick Cammy as your character.

See our complete Cammy Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Chun-Li

Chun-Li possesses all the positives of an S-Tier character, but her incredibly high learning curve prevents her from being recommendable to many players. That being said, her aerial capabilities, long reach, and incredible kick combos can be deadly if used correctly.

See our complete Chun Li Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

JP

A newcomer to Street Fighter 6, JP is incredibly versatile. He is effective in both close-quarters and long range combat, and his ability to switch between the two rapidly can keep your opponent guessing. With powerful Special Moves and Super Arts on top of this, it might just be worth powering through the high learning curve he has.

Juri

Juri boasts incredible combo potential and uses kick attacks on par with any other character on the roster. With the addition of her Feng Shui Engine ability to power up her attacks, she can output ridiculous amounts of damage if you manage to get her fully leveled up in combat.

See our complete Juri Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Ken

Ken remains an excellent choice in terms of general accessibility to the wider player base. He has a strong balance between power and agility that enable him to reliably execute devastating combos.

See our complete Ken Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Luke

Remarkably similar in many ways to both Ryu and Ken, Luke is a strong option for newer players (he's the cover star after all!), and has a number of strong Supers and punches with incredible reach that can all but guarantee your opponent to be pinned in the corner of a stage for a good while.

B Tier Characters

Ryu

Ryu exists as he essentially always has done throughout Street Fighter history. He is still very powerful, has strong combo potential, and isn't even too difficult to get to grips with for newcomers, but Ken is ultimately the more enticing of these two fairly similar fighters.

See our complete Ryu Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Jamie

Another newcomer to Street Fighter 6, he has a relatively unique moveset and has strong damage output potential, but is overly reliant on raising his "drunk" level to achieve that potential. He isn't a bad choice, but compared to a somewhat similar fighter (mechanically) like Juri, he doesn't quite stack up.

See our complete Jamie Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

E. Honda

advertisem*nt

E. Honda is suprisingly mobile and that agility lends to good combo potential and powerful hits across the board, but due to his size (similar to Blanka) he can very easily become trapped in a corner by your opponent, with limited options to escape such a scenario.

See our complete E Honda Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Dhalsim

Dhalsim boasts excellent range potential due to his elongated limbs, and the ability to teleport grants him mobility and an unpredictability that is near unrivaled. That being said, he lacks true damage output as a result, and therefore requires essentially full mastery of his moveset to make him a viable option.

See our complete Dhalsim Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

C Tier Characters

Lily

What Lily lacks in terms of flexibility and variety of attacks, she makes up for in terms of accessibility. She is without doubt the easiest character to get to grips with out of the entire roster, but doesn't compete when it comes to combo potential and powerful Supers.

See our complete Lily Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on her move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Blanka

Whilst Blanka can be powerful in certain moments, he is far too reliant on near-perfect timing and/or insane skills to consistently output that damage potential. He is also incredibly reliant on his Blanka-Chan Dolls, which inherently puts him at a disadvantage compared to others on the roster.

See our complete Blanka Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.

Dee Jay

Despite a brand new moveset complete with interesting (sometimes rhythm-based) moves, his dependence on those moves to reliably perform well in fights make him very hard to recommend to anyone when objectively stronger and more flexible fighters are an option.

See our complete Dee Jay Guide - Move List and Best Tips for more details on his move list, alternative costume, and best tips and tricks.
