S-Tier

Juri

She is a Korean girl who is known for her extremely good combo potential and kick attacks that can get on the enemy’s nerves. She seeks thrill and finds pleasure in seeing others going through pain or suffering.

Juri can execute perfect poke attacks, and through the Feng Shui Engine ability, she can make her strikes more potent than ever. She offers an aggressive playstyle and has satisfactory mobility. You can afflict enemies with additional or increased damage,

with the chain of special moves through Fuhajin storing. The main thing about playing with Juri is that she is hard to master and is quite complex, but getting complete command over this character provides you with an unmatchable fighting thrill.

The only drawback here is the reliance on Fuha Stocks, as, without them, her special attacks will not be much effective.

Manon

The Manon Posses variety of moves and is a potent grabber and thrower. Her damage output is quite impressive thanks to her unique medal system, and due to this, she becomes unstoppable. The medal system enhances the strength of command grab,

And a higher model level means she can turn into a formidable grappler. Besides this, she is a mid-range combating character. You can make her play from mid to close range for a better outcome. Playing with Manon simply means you will have to be patient, as the fight will be long.

The drawback is that her grappling will not be much stronger in the beginning. Also, she is not the right pick for aggressive or quick gameplay.

Kimberly

But it is suggested to use it when you are not under attack, or the enemy is knocked down, as it takes some time to recharge. Another point you must consider is that Ryu’s strategy can be predicted, so play wisely while maintaining a balance between offensive and defensive approaches.

Ken

In Street Fighter 6, you get to master and use the great moveset of Ken that includes potent kicks and other moves that can give you a hard time to the opponent. The biggest plus point of playing with Ken is that beginners can handle him without any difficulty.

He is versatile enough and offers amazing combat gameplay. Moreover, he is capable of using fireballs that can turn the fight in your favor. The significant special moves are Tatsumaki Senpu–kyaku, Hadoken, and Shoryuken.

There are also many kick moves for forward strikes, and you can also perform the series of kick strikes while being airborne through the Aerial Tatsumaki Senpu–kyaku. You can also go for jinrai kick to turn down the enemy’s guard or can make effective combos out of it.

Ken is more suitable for an offensive playstyle as compared to a defensive one.

Luke

A young protagonist who is versatile and can perfectly control mid-range fights. He has enough knowledge regarding combats due to his military background, and he is also called a jack-of-all-trades. Luke is not too hard to master, so beginners can go for this character in Street Fighter 6.

You can start with the normal attacks followed by the special and super art moves to deal significant damage. His adaptability includes the use of projectiles and other attacks that make him a potential pick.

Due to a few shortcomings, Luke isn’t good at standing against powerful melee strikes. also, being a new addition, his play strategies are not known, so we can say that the players who play with Luke may not be able to unlock his complete potential until they get fully aware of his playstyle.

Chun-Li

This character brings such strong vibes with her and is known to be excellent in martial arts. Mastering her can be arduous, but we all know that practice makes a man perfect, right? So don’t miss out on trying Chun-Li.

The way she stretches portrays how much adaptable she is. This character offers fine speed, effective kick strikes, and stances. The stances provide you with more good strategies against the enemy and attacks when the moment is right.

Chun-Li can perform charged moves such as Kikoen, which involves a projectile, so you need to be good at managing the timing according to the situation. There is an extensive list of unique attacks that you must go through.

This character is suitable for mid-range combats, and you need to have proper skills for utilising the special moves.

Cammy

For beginners, Cammy is the best choice as she is easy to master and learn, but if you get too skilled, then you can taste the real power of her gameplay. Opting for Cammy is like you are never going to be disappointed. She is back with her swift moves and combos.

She offers aggressive gameplay with great mobility, speed, and accuracy. Her major moves are Canon Spike and Spiral Arrow, as these are used frequently while playing with Cammy. The former one is for the anti-air while the latter one covers a large distance or area.

The limitations here are low health and difficulty in dealing with players with a defensive playstyle.

JP

In Street Fighter 6, JP is best for range combat, and he is known for the utilization of psycho power. He is good at tricking opponents and is capable of creating obstacles that make the playing space challenging for the enemy.

Most importantly, you must know when to use a particular ability. Moreover, he performs intense hits with his cane, and some moves allow him to teleport. The Departure Window move enables teleportation, and he can also make his clone through the Torbolan and Embrace moves.

The enemy can block the first one, but the copy created through the later move grabs the opponent. Having JP as your character means that you have to play mind games, but it requires time and practice to master JP.

Also, his zoning place style may not suit everyone. The right way to win the battle is by having control over the space and keep adding hurdles and unpredictable moves to keep pressure on an enemy.

B-Tier

E. Honda

E. Honda is a sumo wrestler who is a force to be reckoned with. His powerful strikes can deal significant damage to his opponents, making him a formidable fighter. As a returning player, E. Honda has only become tougher and stronger than before.

His open-palm strikes are incredibly powerful, and his mobility allows for some impressive combo potential. There are a variety of moves to choose from, but some require charging, so it’s best to practice and master them before selecting E. Honda in Street Fighter 6.

The Hundred Hand Slap is a quick series of slaps that can be boosted with Sumo Spirit for even more damage. With special abilities, you can maintain control over the fight. Although his moves are limited, E. Honda is still a top choice for any player looking for a challenge.

Marisa

Marisa got a tall stature, and she seeks challenges. The height is just one quality as she can carry out strong and lethal moves against her opponents. She comes with distinct armor abilities and can deal high damage through combos.

In mid-range combat, you can totally rely on her, and her performance on the ground is very better than in the air. The moves include many threatening kicks and punch attacks and Parry stances. With Gladius, you can get a strong fist and can use it for Counter Strikes.

For the frame benefit, you can go for the chargeable strikes, but there, you are required to be good at time management. Quadriga move serves the purpose of applying pressure as Marisa isn’t fast, so the players who prefer rush may not find her a great choice.

Also, the mixing up of Moves is recommended. Otherwise, your opponent can easily predict the attacks.

Dhalsim

This yoga master is quite flexible and dominates the space with his formidable strikes and is best for long-range combats. Being into yoga has benefited him a lot as he can stretch the limbs that allow him to be a great zoner and damage enemies at a distance.

He can Teleport while making his attacks unpredictable and has super good agility. The projectiles offer you a variety of properties and directions as well, so you can select the one according to the situation.

Speaking of projectiles yoga arch is regarded as the best one as it goes in both directions: upward and downward. Playing with him isn’t easy at all as again you will need a lot of practice. Apart from this, his offensive potential is not much effective.

Jamie

Well, Jamie has got a unique combat style, including drinks, and he is a new addition to Street Fighter 6. He is capable of dealing extensive damage. The play style is centered on boosting the drink level, as he can get access to more moves by raising this level.

Another interesting fact is that the enemy can’t anticipate his moves which means Jamie can be really challenging to fight with. You get to lay hands on a variety of strikes ranging from kicks to a series of vigorous punches.

The Bitter strike move lets him execute the two-hit combo, which involves kicks and punches. In short-range combat, Jamie performs fantastically, so it can be the right moment to show the skills to your opponent.

You must have to be an expert in order to have the unpredictable move set. And try your best to utilize the drink properly without wasting it.

C-Tier

Lily

As you can see, she falls in the C-tier and is an average playing character, but still, this does not make her less. Beginners can find it easy to play with Lily as she doesn’t require a lot of mastering. You can easily get a grip on her moves.

She can boost up the damage and health recovery and is good at poking. The stock utilization enables her to make her moves prolonged and potent. She can reach close to her enemy quickly due to her excellent agility and high offense.

What stops Lily from reaching the higher tier is her low combo potential, and she can’t stand before the zoners or characters with high health ratings.

Zangief

Zangief is a grabber and is mainly known for his brilliant grappling moves, and he fights well in close-quarter combats. He has sufficient health, so you don’t have to be concerned about getting knocked in a short time.

His strong hits can deal damage significant amounts of, but for this, Zangief must strike the opponent from a closer distance. Another advantage we get here is that he can move forward while evading the projectiles coming in his direction and can ward off some strikes as well.

You can try different combinations of Moves to make your attack more damaging. What makes him fall into the average category is that due to his giant stature, enemies can make strategies against him easily, and he lacks speed.

Dee Jay

Dee Jay is back with his funky looks and style in Street Fighter 6. He uses different combinations of strategic attacks and can even fake a strike, i.e., Roll Through Feint allows him to fake a kick as he moves forward.

There are also new moves and some old popular ones like Machine Gun in his moves list. The Machine gun is extremely damaging, but you need skills to handle it. Furthermore, his unique moves like Jackknife Maximum, Funky Dance Feint, and Air Slasher are worth trying.

For Dee Jay, you need to adopt a playstyle that cannot be anticipated, and by having good command over moves, you can make him a challenging character. Dee Jay’s Playstyle is tricky, so if you are into defensive character, then he isn’t for you.

Timing precision is necessary, as, without it, your strategy will not work successfully.

Blanka

the most highlighted quality of Blanka’s playing style is fast mobility and deceptiveness. In Street Fighter 6, there are new tools and tricks available to make the attacks less predictable. Blanka offers effective range attacks, and his game style is centred on misleading the opponents.

He also uses electrical abilities to inflict damage and keep a safe distance to avoid hurt. He may not carry out project tile attacks, but to fill the gap, Rolling attacks are great, which turn Blanka into a ball and strikes in a straight line,

While with Vertical Rolling move, you can do it in the upper direction. Now the downside we see here is that not everyone can settle with his unique playstyle, and also, there is not much information available to measure his full potential.
